Media Slate

Architectural Media & Magazine Stand

Media Slate is a vertical stand for magazines, vinyl records, and larger documents. The design comes from a single solid fir beam that has been sliced and pushed apart to create a staggered stack. Eight Adamello granite spacers hold these wooden segments in place, creating the slots for storage. Anchored by a heavy granite base, the piece is a simple balance between the weight of the stone and the spread of the timber.
